Committee Update: Katie Turbitt

Katie Turbitt has recently taken on a challenging new job working with the Scottish Government and has regretfully concluded that she no longer has enough time to do justice to her role as Media Officer on the Scottish Cyclocross Association committee and has therefore resigned.

Katie joined the committee in February 2020 - just before some rather turbulent times! During that period Katie was heavily involved in the thankless task of migrating the SCX website to a new platform, and of course looking after our social media accounts. We will miss her on the committee and thank her very much for her hard work and commitment over the last couple of years. Hopefully her new job will not get in the way of riding her bike and we will all see her racing during the coming season.

It does of course mean we need to fill the role of Media Officer. If anyone is interested either as a co-opted member of the committee, or just for occasional "take-overs" around a race, please get in touch at hello@scottishcx.org.uk
